Marie Ward graduated in 2011 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Armed Forces, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since then, she has brought a high level of skill, dedication, and compassion to her role at  Springmount Dental & Aesthetics.

Utilising her specialist expertise in periodontal disease, Marie plays a key role in helping patients manage and stabilise gum conditions and maintain optimal oral health. With a holistic approach to dental care, she focuses not only on clinical treatment but also on supporting patients’ overall wellbeing. This includes tailoring care plans to each individual’s needs and promoting lifestyle practices that contribute to lasting oral and general health.

Committed to continued learning and clinical excellence, Marie has undertaken further professional development in periodontal therapy and integrative care to ensure patients receive the highest standard of evidence-based, patient-centred treatment.

Outside of the practice, Marie has a passion for authentic, immersive, and responsible travel and has explored a wide variety of exciting destinations around the world. She also enjoys practising mindfulness and yoga, hiking in nature, and weightlifting. At home, she is a proud cat mum to a spirited three-legged feline companion.
